Agere & Lucent ORiNOCO Client Manager Settings

PROBLEM: Application can see networks but fails to connect, especially WEP-protected signals.
SOLUTION: The Wireless Network utility in the Control Panel may need a helper profile. (Not applicable in Windows XP)

Open Wireless Network Utility

1.	Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Wireless Network

2.	Add a profile.

3.	Enter Any as the Profile Name.

4.	Click Next.

5.	Enter Any as the Network Name.

6.	Click Next.

7.	Do not change settings on the Set Security page.

8.	Click Next.

9.	Do not change settings on the Power Management page.

10.	Click Next.

11.	Do no change settings on the TCP/IP Behavior page.

12.	Click Finish.
